If you love a fresh-from-the-garden style with blooms inspired by the seasons, want gorgeous flowers with simple and understated elegance, and don’t require specific flowers or complex designs, our Weddings à la Carte flowers are perfect for you. You choose a color palette and the specific floral pieces you desire and we’ll take care of the rest!

With Weddings à la Carte, you have the freedom to choose the items you want for your wedding day and the knowledge of transparent pricing so you can design a custom floral package while staying within your budget. Using your desired color palette, we choose the best blooms our fields have to offer the week of your wedding and create lush, custom garden-style arrangements to add delightful color and beauty to your day.

Weddings à la Carte is for you if:

  • You love a fresh-from-the-garden style with blooms inspired by the seasons.
  • You like supporting a local flower farmer and are happy your flowers won’t be sprayed with toxic chemicals.
  • You want simple yet understated elegance and don’t require specific flowers or complex designs.
  • You only need personal flowers, centerpieces, and a few focal arrangements.
  • You’re happy to be able to share your preferred colors and the overall vision for your wedding, and then willing to let us do our thing!
  • You are able to pick up your flower order the morning of your wedding.

Weddings à la Carte is NOT for you if:

  • You have a huge budget and a huge vision. You want it all!
  • You want the flowers you love even if they are not locally-grown or are out-of-season.
  • You want specific flowers, such as roses, or an exact copy of your inspiration pics.
  • You want large arrangements or floral installations.
  • You like being in charge of every last detail and require numerous consultations to plan your perfect day.
  • Your wedding schedule is filled to the brim and you require delivery and on-site set-up.

Here is how it works:

  • READ THIS PAGE – This webpage is full of all the information you need to know and most questions can be answered by thoroughly reading everything provided here. But if we missed something, don’t hesitate to ask!
  • SUBMIT AN ORDER FORM – You’ll provide us with all the details about your wedding—your style, color palette, and flower preferences—and select the items you want for your wedding with all the pricing clear and transparent. There won’t be any surprises!
  • CHOOSE YOUR À LA CARTE WEDDING – We offer three options for our À la Carte Weddings.

    ~ Full Weddings will most likely include bride & groom florals, attendant personal florals, and table centerpieces. Full Weddings require a minimum $1,000 order.

    ~ Intimate Weddings such as elopements or a limited number of guests have a smaller number of personal florals or centerpieces. Intimate Weddings have a maximum order of roughly $500.

    ~ DIY Weddings include stand-alone bulk flower and require a minimum of 3 bulk flower buckets.
  • REVIEW YOUR ESTIMATE & CONTRACT – Within one week of receiving your order form, I will email you an estimate for your wedding flowers based on the details you provided, along with our wedding contract.
  • RESERVE YOUR DATE AND SUBMIT DEPOSIT – Once you have reviewed your estimate and are ready to reserve your wedding date, send a non-refundable deposit and a signed copy of our contract. We require a $500 deposit for Full weddings or 50% of your Intimate wedding or stand-alone bulk flower order. Your deposit will be applied to your final balance. Checks (payable to Simple Leaf Farm) and cash are preferred. Payments via credit/debit card will incur a 5% processing fee.
  • FINAL REVIEW & INVOICE – Six weeks prior to your event, we will reconnect to review your order and you can make additions and small changes at this time. We will provide your final invoice, noting the balance due.
  • FINAL PAYMENT – Four weeks prior to your wedding, your final payment is due. Checks (payable to Simple Leaf Farm) and cash are preferred. Payments via credit/debit card will incur a 5% processing fee.
  • FLOWER PICKUP – We’ll have your flowers carefully packed, labeled, and ready for pickup the morning of your wedding at our farm in Dryden, MI. (Bulk flowers may be picked up a day or two before so you have time to make your arrangements.) Your flowers should be transported in an air-conditioned vehicle with a large flat area such as an SUV or van. Flowers will not survive the trip in an open-bed pickup truck. Delivery is not available.
